As far as my research has found, there was one more episode after "The Return", but it never aired. In this episode, named "The Attack", it was revealed that the leader's cease fire was only a ploy to capture "The Star Child", Elizabeth. The visitors launch an attack that gains the upper hand on all fronts. The good guys, Donovan, Willy and the others, escape from the mother ship and meet up with Ham Tyler back on the ground. Diana's bomb goes off inside the shuttle, but Elizabeth uses her celestial powers to save herself and Kyle. The battle for earth continuous. A more detailed summery of this episode can be read here.
A script writer named J. Michael Straczynski wrote new chapter to the V saga, but it was rejected by the next work (though it has been announced that his work will be novelized on paperback). You can read his script here.
